Privacy & legal
Short version: we ask for your business name and an email address so we can send you a link to your site. That's it. We don't sell anything to anyone and we don't track you.

What we collect, and why
Only what you type into the form on our home page:
- Your business name and where it is — so we can build a draft that's actually about you.
- What you do, and your website or social page — same reason. Both optional.
- Your email address — so we can send you the link. This is the only way we contact you.
We don't ask for a phone number, a card, or an address, because we don't need them to build a draft.
What we don't do
- We don't add you to a mailing list. Leaving an email to get a draft is not permission to send you offers, and we treat it that way.
- We don't sell, rent or share your data.
- We don't use analytics, advertising pixels or profiling of any kind.
Cookies
Nothing is loaded until you say yes. When you first arrive we ask, with two buttons the same size — accept and reject. If you reject, or simply don't answer, no cookie from Google or Meta is ever loaded. Not loaded and switched off: not loaded at all.
What we would load, if you let us:
- Measurement — Google Analytics, to know how many people visit and which pages they read.
- Advertising — Google Ads and the Meta pixel, to know which advert brought someone here. We run adverts to find customers, and without this we would be paying blind.
You can change your mind whenever you like: change my cookies. Your choice is kept in your own browser, and we can't read it from here.
The drafts we build for our customers carry none of this. Those are pages about real businesses, and putting a tracker on them to profile their visitors is not something we will do.
If you go on to buy, the payment page loads PayPal's checkout, which sets its own technical cookies to process the payment. Those are necessary to take a payment and are loaded only on that page.
Who else sees your data
- PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A. — our payment provider. If you buy, they process the payment and receive the card or account details you type into their checkout, not the ones you gave us. We never see your card number.
- Nobody else. The site runs on our own server; your request is stored there and read by us.
How long we keep it
If you don't become a customer, we delete your request after twelve months. If you do, we keep what the law requires us to keep for invoicing, and nothing more.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted — including the draft we built. Write to info@smart-media.online and we'll do it, no questions and no forms to fill in. If you think we've handled your data badly you can also complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the AEPD.
The drafts
A draft we build for you stays out of Google until you buy it, and it isn't public unless you share the link. If you say no, we take it down.
Terms, in plain words
- You see the finished site before you pay. If you don't want it, you owe nothing.
- Prices are in US dollars and include what's listed on the page. Any tax that applies is shown before you pay, and the invoice is issued by us.
- The service is the site online plus every change you ask for, done the same day. A one-off setup fee of $299 covers building it; then it's $89 a month, $948 a year, or $1,656 for two years.
- When you pay, the domain is yours: it stays in your name, and if you leave we hand over the files we built. What stops is the service, not your ownership.
- You can cancel a monthly plan at any time. The site stays online until the end of the period you have paid for.
Refunds
Fourteen days, no questions. If you change your mind within 14 days of paying, write to info@smart-media.online and we refund everything you paid — the setup fee included. You don't have to give a reason and we won't ask for one.
- Refunds go back to the card or account you paid with, through PayPal, our payment provider. PayPal normally returns the money within 5–10 working days.
- After 14 days: a monthly plan can be cancelled whenever you like and stops at the end of the month you've paid for. Yearly and two-year plans run to the end of their period and are not refunded pro rata.
- The setup fee is refundable inside the 14 days like everything else. After that it isn't, because the work is done and the site is online.
- If we take the site offline, or stop being able to make the changes we promised, we refund the unused part of what you paid. That one is on us, not on you.
Who is responsible for what
We build and host the site and make the changes you ask for. You are responsible for the content you give us being yours to use — texts, photos, logos, prices — and for it being accurate. If something on your site turns out to be wrong, tell us and we correct it the same day.
Spanish law applies to this contract.
